Arutech Windows

History

The company was founded by
Areg Arutjunjan
  • In 1999 we started manufacturing windows with the capacity of 10 windows per day. We had 1 office in Tallinn back then.
  • In 2000 we opened 2 more branches in Tallinn.
  • In 2001 we purchased additional equipment and our production capacity increased up to 25 windows per day.
  • In 2002 we opened 2 more branches in Tallinn and with 4 Arutech offices covered practically all of the city districts in Tallinn. After that, every Tallinn citizen could find an Arutech branch not far from their home.
  • In 2003 we opened offices in Tartu and Pärnu, bringing the total amount of offices to 6. Additionally, we created our logistics centers in those cities.
  • In 2004 we purchased a new production line and the rate of production reached 90 windows per shift or 180 windows per day.
  • In 2004 we opened offices in Narva, Ahtme, Kohtla-Järve, Jõhvi, Rakvere and Keila. As a result, we had 12 offices and 5 logistics centers all together.
  • In 2005 we opened offices in Haapsalu, Viljandi and Jõgeva, which meant that we had 14 branch offices and 7 logistics centers all together.
  • In 2005 Arutech occupied the 6th place among the 500 fastest developing companies in Estonia.
  • In 2006 branch offices were opened in Maardu, Sillamäe, Valga, Võru, Paide and Rapla. As a result, Arutech had 21 branch offices and 10 logistics centers by then.
  • In the period of 2007-2009 Arutech closed 3 branch offices in Maardu, Sillamäe, Pärnu in order to optimize costs.
  • In 2010 we transferred two Tallinn branch offices: Mustamäe and Haabersti were relocated to more prestigious and convenient sales centers
  • In 2011 the Headquarters of Arutech moved to a new place, having considerably expanded its production and office spaces. Today, the headquarters and production facilities are situated at Peterburi tee 47B, owning 3 000 sq. meters of production space and 400 sq. meters of office area. Arutech has around 130 employees and 2 production lines are installed with production capacity of 350-400 windows per day.
  • On July 22, 2011 Arutech obtained the International Quality Management Certificate ISO9001: 2008 and Environmental Management Certificate ISO 14001:2004.
    These certificates cover the sales, manufacture and installation of plastic windows, doors and partitions. This is a major step in our companies development, because it gives us the ability to introduce us as a European-level enterprise in quality management and environmental issues. In addition, we have received a CE marking, which confirms that our windows with GEALAN structural sections, have passed the tests successfully and fully in accordance with the EU requirements for the manufacture of windows – EVS-EN 14351-1:2006 + A1: 2010.
  • At the end of the year 2011 and in the year 2012, Arutech participated in several trade fairs abroad. Participation in Norway, Sveden and Finland was funded with the aid of Enterprise Estonia. With that, ARUTECH opened its own export activities at the beginning of the year 2012 and started successful sales of its products in Norway, Sveden, Finland and Denmark.
  • The company’s export volume has grown throughout the year 2013-2014.
  • In 2015, Arutech built a new manufacturing and office building. Now the main enterprise can be found at: Allika tee 3, Peetri alevik 75312, Rae vald, Estonia. The new plant allowed to improve labor efficiency and speed up the timing of shipment of the Goods. In 2015, Arutech discovered new markets and began to export its products to Canada and the United States.
